As eleições gerais deste domingo, dia 2, movimentou milhares de eleitores em todo o Brasil. Em Itabuna, 117.490 eleitores exerceram o direito de votar e escolher seus candidatos.
Desse total de eleitores, apenas 106.400 (90,56%) foram votos válidos, 5.410 (4,61%) votaram em branco, 5.680 (4,83%) anularam e 38.837 (24,84%) se abstiveram.
